Become an on-call Lab Courier at Vancouver Clinic!

The Laboratory Courier will provide professional and courteous courier service to Vancouver Clinic and other Outreach clients. As a Courier you will pick-up/deliver reports and specimen (following policy for specimen handling to maintain integrity), fill supply orders, and complete administrative duties while practicing client sensitivity, discretion and patient and company confidentiality. ​ On-Call must have reliable attendance, availability to train full-time, and be flexible to work variable days and hours (hours to include evening and weekend hours).

New hires generally start between $16.80-$22.00 an hour and placement in the range is based on evaluation of qualifications and experience.

Available Differentials: On-Call (5%), Saturday/Sunday ($2.50/hour) and Evening ($2.00/hour). 

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Valid Washington State driver's license required.

  • Employee motor vehicle record must meet acceptability standards regarding violations/accidents as determined by Vancouver Clinic.

  • Previous delivery or courier driver experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Must be organized and detail oriented.

Pay Range:

$16.48 - $23.07

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked.  Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
