Job Description: Medical Courier

Location: Louisville, KY 40214

The Medical Courier position entails driving a company vehicle to transport medical specimens from Louisville, KY to Danville, IL. This team member will be hands on with sorting specimens and responsible for data entry with another team member before completing the route. We are looking for someone very reliable with good communication skills in this independent work environment. Must have a clear drug screen (including THC) and background check and be comfortable with medical specimens. 

Job Responsibilities: The Medical Courier will be responsible for:

  • Picking up and delivering medical specimens from Louisville, KY to Danville, IL. The route will end upon return to Louisville, KY. 
  • Accession and prepare specimens for testing prior to departure.
  • Ensuring the safe and timely transport of all items.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all deliveries and pickups.
  • Communicating with coworkers to ensure efficient and effective service.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of company vehicles. 
Schedule: 
  • Tuesday-Saturday
  • 5am-1pm
License/Certification: Valid Driver's License (Required)

Requirements:

  • Drug Test - Zero Tolerance (including THC)
  • Background Check - Clean Driving Record
