πŸš€ About the Position

The Lead Medical Delivery Technician is responsible for overseeing a team of associates, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure smooth operations. In addition to team supervision, the Lead is tasked with the delivery, setup, pickup, and troubleshooting of Durable Medical Equipment (DME). This role requires timely, efficient, and knowledgeable completion of all assigned deliveries.

  • Assign and delegate tasks to team members to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
  • Train new hires on all functions of the position on the road and in the warehouse facilities.
  • Organize and lead on-call rotations, ensuring proper backup coverage is in place when needed.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet departmental and operational needs.
  • Hold monthly team meetings to keep all staff informed of updates, changes, and expectations.
  • Conduct equipment and tablet training for all staff members.
  • Deliver and install Durable Medical Equipment (DME) in a safe and timely manner.
  • Provide delivery, pick-up, and maintenance of all types of home medical equipment and medical supplies.
  • Safely operate a company-owned vehicle.
  • Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on proper and safe use of equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Complete all orders thoroughly and accurately using an inventory management system.
  • Organize and maintain equipment according to company policies.
  • Participate in on-call services and provide backup support as required.


🌟 What We’re Looking For

  • Valid state-issued driver’s license in the state where the employee works, required.
  • High school diploma required.
  • 1 year of delivery and/or customer service, strongly preferred.
  • Must have a clean driving record and pass a background check.
  • Must be 21 years of age to meet the coverage requirements of the company’s auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry equipment of varying weights.
