Medical Courier

Comprehensive Woman's Care, a division of Together Women’s Health (TWH) has an immediate opportunity for a Medical Courier to join their growing medical team.  The Medical Courier will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of medical items.

The Medical Courier must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle.

This position will require 2 runs per day: 8:00am and 4:00pm. 

Lab specimens will be transported daily to the Clinton Township office. 

How you’ll make an impact:

• Pick up and deliver medical specimens, equipment, and confidential documents to various locations in a timely manner.
• Ensure the proper handling and transport of medical items, blood specimens, urine samples and confidential documents
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ensuring that medical items are securely stored in the delivery vehicle.
• Ensuring the punctual collection and delivery of medical items from the healthcare facility.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised with emphasis on punctuality.
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Position is 10-12 hours per week.
