Per Diem - Evening Lab Courier (North Andover, MA / Portsmouth, NH)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The courier is responsible for pickup, transfer and delivery of medical specimens and records from the labs and practice offices.

Schedule:  Per Diem / 2nd Shift as Needed.  Please note, this shift would start around 4:30 or 5 PM (after biz hours for clinic).

Compensation:  $20 - $22 x hr with no benefits

Travel:  Must be willing to travel between our lab and clinic in Portsmouth, NH as well as a few other clinic locations in North Andover, MA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Drive a company vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.


• Safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmacy items, interoffice mail and related material in a timely manner.


• Demonstrate a safe and courteous driving behavior.


• Present a professional image to patients, vendors, employees and the public through appearance and interaction.


• Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat and orderly company vehicle.


• Regular and reliable attendance.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:  High School Diploma or Equivalent 

• 1 year of Customer Service 


• Valid Driver's License / Good Driving Record
